New clowns in 2007
Lewy
Chris Lewis
Lewy joined us in the fall of 2007. He hit the ground running and has never slowed down. He learned to tie balloons real well and sincerely enjoys putting on makeup and being with the kids. He ties ballons and parades as much as he can. We're glad to have him. He was named our 2008 Rookie Clown of the Year.
Captian Teriffic
Ed 'Pappy' Winkler
A wonderful entertainer. He is at his best in a room full of people with a pocket full of balloons. He has twisted balloons all over the world for kids of all ages. It really bridges language barriers in a big hurry. Pretty soon he has them talking his language - smiles.
Slappy
John Perrine
Slappy joined us in the summer of 2007. He paraded all over the place and had a great time. His work changed and he wasn't able to clown around as much as he wanted to, but when in costume, he had a great time with us. In 2008, Slappy transferred from the Clown unit to the Oriental Band. We wish him well.
