2009 Chili Feed

Our 2009 Chili Feed was held on Janurary 24, 2009. The cooking crew began their work at about 9:00 in the morning to prepare for to serve chili beginning at 5:00 in the afternoon. It snowed the day before, so I was concerned that attendance would be down. Luckily the snow melted while the guys were cooking, and the crowds turned out in droves. I was very pleased to have tons of clowns and clown ladies all pulling together to raise money for the unit. Something new this year was having the membership chairman set up an information booth. He gave out some literature, so I'm considering that a success. The divan people also set up a place and sold circus t-shirts. They sold 26 shirts which I also consider a success.
