09 Potentate's Reception

The 2009 Potentate's Reception was held on Sunday January 18, 2009. I was only able to take a few pictures, but I will get with the temple photographeer to get some more. The room was set up beautifully and there was enough food to feed an army. Larry Pressman arranged for an ice sculptor to sculpt a bust of 'Paddy' from a 300 pound block of ice. Everything went well. It was a well attended event. The weather gods were kind that day, so a group from Overland Park was able to drive over to Topeka that day too.
